Roero hilly terrain is suitable for cross country lovers and technical guides. Continuous ups and downs, single track in the woods, roads among the vineyards, humid and shady valleys. From Cisterna d’Asti to Pocapaglia hundreds of kilometers of marked trails marked for a lot of fun by MTB.

The itineraries have been studied both the trekking and for mtb in different difficulty levels and lengths.
From the circuits of a few kilometers to the long tours of 40 km with 1000 meters of difference in height: in Roero you can experience the all-round MTB holiday.

PATHS AND TRAILS

From Belvedere hotel, exiting to the right, take S1 – Il Grande sentiero del Roero and follow 30 km  Rocche del Roero dorsal up to Pocapaglia. The S1 trail is is a succession of other marked itineraries intersecting and leading to new locations.

Arrived in Pocapaglia and America dei Boschi territories you will find the area called Silva Popularis: a wood area with a dense single track network for the MTB.

In addition to the tracks winding along the S1 path, you can choose from dozens of other less wild routes, including vineyards and orchards. You can follow S4 path to arrive to Bra city. With your MTB you can choose S3 and go to the discovery of Guarene, Magliano Alfieri and Govone castles.

But in Langa and Roero, the cuisine is the king. A mtb tour is more interesting if it also allows a short taste break. Without eating too much, have a break in one of the many typical trattorias.

Roero and Langa paths continually cross small villages where the local trattorias know how to delight you.
